App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected

In short

Pixel Racing does not collect any personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it contains no third-party code that does. The game never sends anything to our servers — we simply never receive your data.

This matches the App Store privacy label of the app: "Data Not Collected".

What stays on your device

The game keeps, inside the app's own storage on your device: your records (for each track and car, the best time, the best score, the best place and how many times you raced it; for each championship, the best place, the best total and how many times you raced it) and your settings (language, the car, color and difficulty last chosen, music and sounds and their volumes, vibration, and the driver's name and number shown on your car).

The driver's name is whatever you type, is optional and is only shown inside the game. None of this leaves the device except your records, through iCloud, as explained below.

iCloud

If iCloud is on for Pixel Racing, a copy of your records (not your settings, and not your driver's name) is kept in your own iCloud (key-value storage), so you can continue on your other devices signed in with the same Apple Account.

This copy is stored by Apple, in your account, under Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it. You can turn it off at any time in your device's Settings, in the iCloud options of your Apple Account.

Permissions

The game doesn't ask for, and doesn't use, your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, health data or notifications, and it never asks for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Game controllers and keyboards are only read while you play, to drive the car.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes everything it kept on the device. The copy of your records in iCloud stays in your Apple Account, so it comes back if you install the game again; if you'd rather it didn't, turn iCloud off for the game before reinstalling it, or write to us and we'll explain how to clear it.

Children

Pixel Racing is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either. It has no ads, no purchases, no chat and no links out of the game.

If you contact us

If you write to us by email for help, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to answer you, and it's covered by the studio's privacy policy.

Who is responsible

Pixel Racing is made and published by Marcos Gomes (MarquitosPT), Portugal. For anything about privacy, write to privacidade@marquitos.pt.

Changes

If the game ever starts handling data differently, this page is updated before the new version reaches the App Store, and the date at the top changes. The studio's general principles are in the Marquitos Games privacy policy.
