Privacy Policy

We make games, not profiles. Our games don't show ads, don't sell data and don't track you across other apps or websites. This policy explains the few things we do handle, and why.

1. Who we are

Marquitos Games is the name under which Marcos Gomes (MarquitosPT), based in Portugal, publishes games. He is the data controller for everything described here. Privacy contact: privacidade@marquitos.pt.

2. Our games

Each game has its own privacy policy, which says exactly what that game keeps, where and why — and matches its privacy label on the App Store:

Across all our games:

• we don't sell or rent personal data to anyone;
• we don't show advertising or include advertising SDKs;
• we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites;
• game progress stays on your device and, where the game offers it, in your own iCloud, which we can't access.

3. This website

This website has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is kept only in your browser (local storage) and never sent to us.

Like any web server, the one hosting this site records technical data for each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested, date and time. These logs are used only to keep the site working and secure, are not combined with any other data and are deleted automatically after a short period.

4. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to answer you and to fix what you reported, and we delete the conversation when it's no longer needed.

5. Legal basis

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)), and support emails on the basis of answering your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Write to privacidade@marquitos.pt and we'll answer within one month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD, or to the authority where you live.

7. Children

Our games are made for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we'll delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Significant changes are made before they take effect, never after.
