Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. Maze Run has no account and plays entirely offline. The internet is only used by iCloud, if it's on, to carry your progress between your devices.
Does the game have ads or in-app purchases?
No. There are no ads and no in-app purchases — all 48 levels are included. They open one by one, as you clear them.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. It's a game for all ages: no violence, no chat and no links out of the game. The first levels are small and gentle, and each step brings in one new thing at a time.
How do I steer?
Swipe the way you want to go; keep your finger down to turn one corner after another. A turn asked for early waits for the next corner where it fits, and turning back is instant. Pinch to zoom in on the bigger mazes — the camera follows you.
How do I get the three stars?
Each star is on its own: one for clearing the level, one for clearing it within the target time, and one for clearing it without losing a life. You can get them in different runs: the best of each is kept.
Can I play with a keyboard or a game controller?
Yes. Keyboard: the arrows or W A S D steer, Esc or P pauses. Controller: the stick or the D-pad steers, Menu pauses.
How do I continue my progress on another iPhone or iPad?
Sign in with the same Apple Account on both devices and keep iCloud on for Maze Run. The two copies are merged level by level, keeping the best of each — nothing done on either device is lost.
How do I start over from level 1?
In the game's Settings, under Progress, choose "Reset progress". Every level's stars and best marks are erased, on the device and in iCloud.
How do I change the language, the music or the sounds?
In the game's Settings. By default the game follows your device's language; you can choose English, Portuguese, Spanish or French, and it changes at once. There you also set the music and sound effects (each with its own switch and volume) and the vibration.

To help us find it quickly, please include:
- what you were doing when it happened, and whether it happens every time;
- your device and its system version (for example, iPhone 17 with iOS 27);
- the version of Maze Run: Crystal Escape — it's in the game's Settings, under About;
- a screenshot, if you can.
