Maze Run: Crystal Escape

Collect crystals, dodge guards

Coming soon to the App Store

Swipe to run down the corridors, turn back in an instant when a guard comes round the corner, and plan your way to every crystal. Once the last one is yours, the exit opens — and the clock is still running.

The mazes grow as you go, more guards join in and new pieces arrive one at a time: ice crystals that freeze the guards, portals to the other side of the maze, a locked door and its key, then two doors in a chain. Every level is the same each time you play it, so you can learn it and beat it.

What you'll do

Three kinds of guards

The orange one comes right after you, the purple one goes where you're going to cut you off, the pink one wanders. Now and then they all scatter — that's when you go back for what you left behind.

Ice, portals and keys

Ice crystals freeze every guard for a few seconds: walk right through them. Portals take you to the other side in an instant — the guards use them too. Keys open the locked door of their color, and while it's shut, not even the guards get through.

48 levels

From a small crypt with two guards to big mazes with six of them, portals and two locked doors: every four levels bring in or tighten one thing, so there's time to learn it before the next.

Three stars per level

One for clearing the level, one for clearing it within the target time, one for clearing it without losing a life. Clearing a level opens the next one, and every level can be replayed for the stars you're missing.

Made for the chase

Swipe controls that chain one corner after another without lifting your finger, pinch to zoom in on the bigger mazes, and music that speeds up in the last ten seconds. Play with the touch screen, a keyboard or a game controller.

Your progress goes with you

Stars and best marks are saved on the device and in iCloud, and follow you to your other iPhones and iPads. The game plays entirely offline.
